"I received a free copy of the book in exchange for writing a review on my blog"
If I was to choose the best math dictionary for children, it would have to be the book, Math Dictionary for Kids by Theresa R. Fitzgerald. I am so impressed with the illustrated examples of each defined word inside this book. It's got more to do with helping you understand how to use these words used to do the math, by showing you. So no, it's not just a book of words with definitions. Instead, it's examples of math in action for many of these words and their definitions.
I do love that this book is very bright in color and attractive to the eyes. Making it enjoyable for children and even adults. It's like a book I rather have then another when it comes to simplifying what you can do with math and making it fun to learn! Plus, the entire book is ordered alphabetically, like a true dictionary and filled with everything math related. I honestly love this compared to a huge book that goes on and on with only written words and no true examples to help one understand how to multiply, subtract or even divide problems. However, in this book, there is so much more you'll learn and understand while going through it.
