"I received a free copy of the book in exchange for writing a review on my blog"
The Giant Book of Hacks for Minecrafters by Megan Miller is something all beginners and those who love to try new things, finding out what they can do and change should own! I honestly loved this book from the day it arrived. The ideas and tips that I now have learned in this book can really help me change my game from what it normally is played as, to something entirely different. From this book, it helps me learn how to build my own maps, make my own mini-games, and pretty much program the game to be something I want it to be.
There is like so much you can do with Minecraft, but not many really know of this. Plus, I feel like a game programmer just by using this book. It's really super helpful and what makes it really nice is that there are screenshots of everything. Nothing is hard to follow for the young or old gamers and readers because of the crystal clear photos. So anyone who reads this book can be a master and also learn a little bit of programming. Therefore, you not only create and add a little more fun to the game, but you also learn a little bit more about programming, which is a great start if anyone ever wants to go into coding.
I think my favorite is that I can create my own fun contraptions, redesign the game to fit my liking and even work on my own traps, which can be fun. I think there isn't anything I can say I found hard because the steps are there in plain sight, and large images not small. Plus, the directions in the text are also very easy to follow as well. Finally, I really enjoyed this book. I would highly recommend this copy to be with those who want to play for the first time or even those who have been playing Minecraft for years, as this will come in handy!
