The Tech Academy - Learn to Code Books - Dictionary, Python, JavaScript and the Small Basics

"I received a free sample of each book in exchange for writing these reviews on my blog"

Below I have a new set of books by The Tech Academy. they've released a nice set of coding books for the beginner. Nothing difficult and super easy to read books for those starting out. Below I will have the links to each book and where you can follow them on social media.

After years of owning a computer, I feel that it's always good to know something about it. No matter, how long it's been and the stuff I already do know about computers, there is always something new to be learned. However, many of us are not that familiar with terms, abbreviations or certain tech words that are used to describe the features, parts, and information of a computer or electronic devices associated with it as well. That is why I'm so grateful to have had a chance to own the book, The Technology Basics Dictionary.

In all honesty, It's always great to have a dictionary, but when you want to learn about something specific than it's even better to have one that is dedicated to that subject. So to own the Technology Basics Dictionary has not only allowed me to understand my computer and understand what everything is with the exact term or word, but it also works for understanding other technology books, such as coding and electronic. I can look up that strange or confusing work and instantly understand what the meaning is and know what is being told to me in any troubleshooting guide, the directions, another book or directly on the computer.

The book has plenty of well-known terms like PC, Data, Chip, Program, Code, Bug, Install and so many more, with 1000 well-known words. Every page has large text that you can really know and see what each word is all about. You really won't  have to squint or struggle to make out the definition. Also, I have to mention that there are words, I've heard over and over, but never truly understood their meaning. Now one example is the word RAM, which is something that you want more of when looking into buying a computer. However, I never knew what the abbreviation really stood for, which is Random Access Memory. I really just knew the abbreviation and never had an idea that it stood for real words. So it's pretty cool to learn more about those words or what the computer is telling you, just by owning a technology basics dictionary!

Therefore, I feel if you want to know computer terms, become a tech wizard and know everything that you can, well this is the book to own and help get you there! It's not only the best way to know what you need to know, but it's a great resource for when anything ever comes up and you have no idea what is being said. So even if someone who isn't in the field of coding, tech repair, or selling electronics, this book can come in handy for anyone who just owns one electronic device, especially a computer. I would highly recommend this and want to add how this would be a great addition to any first-time electronic owners.

Learning to code with Python can be a piece of cake if you know how to code. Especially, with just knowledge of the basics. That is why I'm grateful for the book, Learn Coding Basics in Hours with Python. It is nothing more than a super easy guide to get you started! The entire book is small, under 100 pages and yet has challenges, well exercises and the exact terms you'll need to learn to get coding.

In all truth, many books are still a bit complicated for beginners or meant to be for young kids. However, this is a grownups book, made in a nice large size text that a beginner will appreciate. I honestly found this book to be super helpful and easy to understand right away! I have a little coding experience, but for someone who doesn't have any, this book can really help out. There are things in the words used in Python and their meanings, as well as how to install Python, and getting it up and running. The book also covers how to basically code in python, allowing the reader to get a glance at how to code perfectly. Of course, just like a course book, there is a bit of exercise after each lesson taught in that chapter. This allows you to get a chance to put into action what you've been taught.

It really comes in handy and helps one learn how to code with Python correctly with each exercise. Finally, this is just a really nice book. It's not scary huge, hard to read and only has the most basic and helpful guidance that any beginner would need to know!

The book, Learn Coding Basics in Hours with Small Basic is perfect for a beginner. You're getting guidance to start you out learning about using Small basics and what it takes to begin coding. You first get an idea about the terms and words used, with their means and how to put them in action.

Many books are made for children to help them understand coding, some adult books are a bit complicated and still can be a little intimidating. Therefore, I am so happy about this book and it's easy to read the text. You honestly won't have to fear to code once trying Small Basics, which is a program that Microsoft released in 2011. It's honestly made for beginners and this book helps guide you through coding while using the program.

The book explains plenty about this program, and you can actually take that knowledge and put it to use and make some awesome games or simple programs of your own. It's quite a nice guide to have if you are starting out and want a place to begin. I know when I was looking for my favorite coding program, I still needed to learn the basics, So having a guide explain and help you understand what goes into coding and how it all works, well that's just wonderful! Plus, with Small Basics it can help you even make a fun game as we all use to play like hangman. Therefore, I can't praise this book enough! It's just that awesome and perfect for the complete beginner.

JavaScript is one of my favorites when it comes to coding. I am so impressed by this beginners book as it's super helpful and so easy to understand. There are plenty of examples and exercises to help one understand each chapter that was just taught. So not only do you read, but you get to actually take part in the action. It's quite a great classroom book and study guide for those learning JavaScript.

I've always had trouble learning on my own or searching for a place to find the information. Plus, with terms and understanding, the entire setup can be difficult while browsing for information. However, this book is really a great way to speed the learning process and get down the basics of coding with JavaScript. For example, you not only learn most of the lingo, but you also get an idea of how to write a code and create your very own page.

Plus, with the variables, the understanding of strings, booleans, and even functions they are all located in this book. Of course, that is just a few things that the book will teach you. Though the best is that it's a quick way to get JavaScript down in a few hours and start coding from memory. After attempting the exercises for a few times, it gets easier and becomes a piece of cake. Plus, from what knowledge that has been taught from this book, you can now make your own interactive page to share with others. I honestly love this book and would highly recommend it!
