"I received a free sample in exchange for writing a review on my blog"This is such a wonderful book for beginners! Earth Basketry by Osma Gallinger Tod is packed with such helpful guidance for those who never even started making any type of baskets. I think this book really interested me about making my own baskets because I love the natural appeal and shape, which can all be done handmade! Honestly, anything I can make feels great once completed verse buying it. However, the choice for this book was all due to it's easy to follow directions and guidance.
There are different steps to creating different types of baskets, all natural materials found in the woods, and the end results are just magnificent! Baskets are so much nicer than plastic containers and last longer than a fabric storage bin. Of course, the feeling of completing one of the projects inside feels just marvelous! However, if you are experienced or know a little bit about basketry, well this book can still aid you with some new projects to try.
Finally, everything in this book is simple for anyone to follow and understand! It's a well-organized guide and has such beautiful photos of completed baskets that can be created.
