Outdoor Medical Emergency Handbook by Spike Briggs and Campbell Mackenzie

The book, Outdoor Medical Emergency Handbook by Spike Briggs and Campbell Mackenzie is something that may actually help save one's life! I honestly don't see this book just or outdoors, but every day as well! I actually had a recent event where my finger got almost chopped off from the mower. However, it didn't and I was lucky, but I did get a fracture at the tip. So to learn about how to care at home certain things like fractures or how to care for any badly cut and so much more! This is actually a book that I'd use to help guide me to aiding any type of injury found outdoors or inside the home!

Also, with most of the information inside, I pretty much have once or will come across these types of injuries and symptoms, and will know how to take care of it. Especially for a family, it's good to know the correct way to care for an injury, yours or even a friends.  I think if I go camping this will go with me or buy another copy and have one at home and in my car for traveling. This is a definite must have in my first aid kit!
