Good Clean Food by Samuel Epstein, Beth Leibson, & Gary Null

The book, Good Clean Food by Samuel Epstein, Beth Leibson, and Gary Null is very helpful for anyone who wants to step away from fake and chemicals in their food. I have been actually eating clean for awhile, but once in awhile, I do crave those chemically treats and foods that you don't just pull out of the garden or get on a farm. The only reason I wanted to go clean is for the health benefits and not feel like I have to feel sick or eat food that shouldn't go in my digestive system at all! Especially if it can cause some bad reactions or interact with my body a bad way!

I think for a beginner going clean or anyone who has already taken that new diet approach will love this book as much as I did! It has so many little pieces of information covering certain food like milk and giving you good reasoning to the ingredients and why to even choose organic. I myself always try for grass fed, organic, and natural, in that order. However, sometimes I find that prices can be steep and especially if I'm buying tons of grass fed and organic meat, which I tend to eat a lot of. Though reading this book and learning about the food we eat is such an eye opener and very helpful to keep me pushing along the clean diet.

I can even say that this book has kept me from jumping off tracks and going for something unhealthy like hormone-injected beef. This is also true, after watching the rest of my family eats all the different clean foods on the market and it can be tempting, but with this book, I feel confident and know I'm on the right path! Therefore, this book is super useful and one of my favorite guides to a healthy life!
