I never saw anything like this before, and there are many others that follow like this. However, when I saw it was an encyclopedia, I figure it probably will cover other types of movements as many of the others are specific to a certain type. What I think is that this is very great for athletes, doctors, or anyone who wants to get an idea to creating a workout plan, targeting certain parts of the body or those who wonder what they can use to create strength or rebuild their muscles after any type of injury or just for appearance.
However, this book really is quite useful and covers all types of visual work out guidance, safety tips, the level of difficulty, and much more! Finally, for a healthy workout or a way to just build up some new muscles, this is a terrific reference book and includes plenty of step by step photos!
