I do want to point out, instead of this being your go to with what bird is or where they are located, you also get information on structure, breeding, and feeding. There is a lot of information found inside this book. Plus a great resource to the information many use these books for, like location and types. It is very helpful and a thick book of guidance. Plus, if you ever wanted to learn more about egg shapes and nests, well this book has that info too! You won't be left behind on all things birds when reading this book.
One thing that really is appealing to me about the book, is that my mom uses a book to learn about books around NJ and all over, but hers only show an image close up of the bird. However, this book shares some beautiful action shots of the bird and more details about it, than just where you can find it. You can even learn about the speed, design, migration, and so much info about each one inside. Honestly, my mom got me into the interest of birds, but I really just want to learn to draw new ones. This is a great reference book and has been a big help, identifying and learning more about certain birds like a parrot. I really love the info too and of course, the beautiful photos found inside of the bird. Truly an excellent guide and a wonderful book!
