Draw, Design, and Color Your Own Super-Magical and Beautiful Fairies by Christopher Hart

I am a huge fan of drawing and sometimes being able to create certain characters or designs could be tough! That is why those learn to draw books can come in handy! However, at the moment I was interested in drawing some mystical creatures and the book, Draw, Design, and Color Your Own Super-Magical and Beautiful Fairies by Christopher Hart really caught my attention! I honestly love how easy his books are to use and after owning a few, I knew this would definitely help!

So of course, the book is no difference in how you'll learn, with the step by steps of each body feature covered in all different sections. This will give you a basic idea how to draw certain parts of the body and how to change it up with different features or expressions. The book is a nice size, with images that are viewable from a distance. So you don't need to be right on top of the book to know what you need to draw next. This book actually makes learning how to draw or drawing certain designs like fairies a whole lot easier!

I do want to point out that this book covers fairies and how to create them in all different ways. By this, you could add a different style of wings, sketch the fairy up on its side, different expressions, hair and so on. The design does not have to be the same if you don't want it too  and you can keep adding or changing it up after understanding what it takes to draw these features on the fairy creation. Also that with Christopher's older books and this one, it always reminds me of cartoon designs verse more realistic features. So in my opinion, you get to design more of a cartoon fairy from this book.

I think there is one of my favorite parts of this book is the wings. I really love designing unique and different style wings, ever since my mom collected dragons. Honestly, the wings to a dragon or as in this book, the fairy can be so creative and different that it would probably be more eye catching then the fairy alone. The book has so many to create and it's a great reference and guide to creating a type you want for the fairies you'll draw up or if you want to add wings to other drawings, well why not use what you learn from this book towards another drawing.

Finally, it's an easy to understand drawing book and really helps you draw fairies. I think any child or adult will love learning from this bright and catchy book. Each page is attractive to the eye and doesn't look like something boring. Instead, you feel more engaged to doodle right along with the book, which in the long run will help build you some drawing skills. It's just an excellent book and so much fun to learn from!
