Also getting to know what they actually are, like for example a gas or a metal. I know that these are used in creating of certain things, well for combining these together and creating new chemicals.
However, what really can be gained from this book is not only understanding the Periodic Table, also the people who found the 118 elements and many fun facts about each.
Finally, this is such a great book, very nicely designed, and perfect for the entire family. Especially, children will benefit from the knowledge they will learn and possibly get a head start before the rest of the class if they had this book for science practice and study. Therefore, I highly recommend this to be a very fun read and not your typical teaching book or boring guide.
