Photographs from the Edge by Art Wolfe with Rob Sheppard

Unlike any other book on photography, the book known as Photographs from the Edge by Art Wolfe and Rob Sheppard is a timeline of all the photos captured with a story. This is the only book I've read that isn't a how to, well not much of a how to. Instead, this book is like a story, short stories about the authors' journey and the photos that they took. There is a little helpful tip on each, but basically, you are getting true photographs in all parts of the world, with such excellent capturing of each moment.
The stories they tell inside the book will go with the photo on the page, each with information on the date, the title, the camera used to capture the photo, and of course how it happened in the story below. However, after these is a section even lower than the story, which will give you tips to capture the same photo and even others that may need the same adjustment such as lighting and many other conditions that you might end up capturing a photo in.
I didn't think this would be something I was into, but I was totally mesmerized by the imagery, the stories and of course the helpful tips from true photographers that could improve my photography!
It really is a delightful read and such an experience that anyone would probably enjoy! I loved each photo and actually wish I could be there during the moment they were captured. Such a terrific book to own!
