Origami Odyssey by Peter Engel

The Origami Odyssey by Peter Engel is not a beginners guide, but if you are starting out it can take some time to understand how to create each folded object/item inside. I do enjoy that it comes with a DVD, which comes in handy when trying to create the different odyssey origami items. The kit comes with everything to help you create each item, with the book, and instructional DVD. However, you will need to supply your own paper.
The book is a nice hardcover, but of course, it comes in digital form too. However, I love the real book, it's so much easier to read and able to view each photo of the project I want to do inside. The one I really enjoy and want to try to make is the Origami Sun. Under the Solar System section is the  sun that looks out of this world awesome! My mom loves all types of suns and this would be fun to create for her and possibly attach it to a gift on her birthday. However, this is such a creative origami fold, which now I know how to make since I have the directions and a visual instructor with the DVD.
Also, with each origami project you have inside, is an image with text to each step on what to fold next and the final result on the first page of the item you're about to create/make. It's very easy and yet comes with the additional instruction DVD. So getting lost should never be a problem. If you do mess up on anything just undo the fold and try try again. After awhile it begins to make sense and your final result is what makes it worth wild! Finally, I love the different folds I can create in this book and the fun projects as well!
