Crochet Snowflakes by Caitlin Sainio

There is something about snowflakes that make winter feel like winter! The book, Crochet Snowflakes Step-by-Step by Caitlin Sainio full of gorgeous snowflakes that won't make you feel cold or chilled to catch them outdoors. Instead, these are crocheted snowflakes that you can admire for a long time! The book is perfect for the beginner, using yarn and giving you complete step by step instructions to create your very own flurry.
There is a total of 40 different patterns in this book! So there is plenty of creative snowflakes that can be made. The difference with these type of patterns, creating snowflakes for me is that the yarn is a different type. I've always used a softer and regular thick style yarn for clothing and toy making. However, this uses a thinner type, for more of a detailed snowflake, making it lacy and just gorgeous!
I had no problem adjusting to the change with yarn and hook, it's such a gorgeous book of so realistic snowflakes to create and they really look like they do in the book once you finish! My favorite one at the moment is the Uppsala, number 26. However, that isn't true because they all are very delightful and so fun in shape! I would love to make a few and gift them to those I love for this winter season is almost back! Finally, this is an excellent book and such gorgeous snowflakes to create!
