The Field Guide to Knots by Bob Holtzman

The book, The Field Guide to Knots by Bob Holtzman is packed with 80 different knots worth knowing! If you're into outdoor projects, sports, use of equipment, hunting and so much more, this book can really come in handy! There are so many you can use for different activities and it's a great reference if you forgot how to do a specific type or need to learn a knot to use.
The book itself is very nicely designed, spiral bound. It is one type of book design I really do enjoy, with the easy to view each side of the book and it stays open without being held on the page. The different types are all listed on each page with photos, step by step examples. You also have the numbers to help you remember the knot as well as the contents can help you locate that specific page with that
type of knot too!
The ones I've used indoors for crafts and some outdoors would be the Square Knot, which if you ever knew it under a different name it's labeled below the name on the page. So if you remember hearing a few or one different name for a certain know, it's also listed below as also known as. So if you remember the Square knot as probably the Hercules or Reef Knot well it's the same design, created the same way but different name.

Finally, this is a wonderful book, very helpful with so many knots to create! The book can be a perfect reference book and great to have around when you need a reminder.
I definitely love the books design, perfect as a spiral bound and so much easier to learn to create knots with the step by step visuals.☺
