The book, Power Crystals by John DeSalvo, Ph.D. is a wonderful guide to understanding quartz and the power it provides! I know you would think it's basically about multiple crystals and gems, yet this is more on quartz, which has much power and This book has much info on Quartz and it's natural powers. You will learn how to scry, meditate, and pretty much learn the many uses the quartz for in many of ways.
First, you learn what quartz is all about in the first section of the book. It explains the healing powers, history and studies on the crystal. Next, you learn about crystal skulls, scrying and magical rituals and even more wonderful things about quartz!
It's really an interesting book, mainly in black and white illustrations, but you will see one section inside with a few colored, actual photos of skulls and different, natural quartz. Plus, they are super large pieces, not the small 1-2oz's you might normally see. You do get to see skulls, skeletons made of quartz. Those I actually own a few, but from different stones.
