Dinosaur Dictionary for Kids by Bob Korpella

The book, Dinosaur Dictionary for Kids by Bob Korpella is packed with facts and information to excite any dino lover! I always had a curious side to me and this book sort of caught my attention by its excellent cover and the full-color photos of each dino inside. The book is more for children, but really anyone can enjoy reading up on Dinosaurs. Especially if you love to do a research paper or understand what types, how they looked, and how they lived back in history.
The book is organized by the different periods, but first, you get a little information on how to use the dictionary. Also, how the information is discovered and how they can report what is true about that type of dinosaur or what occurred when. Honestly, when you do look further through the pages, some of the dinosaurs you might have heard of but others will be surprising to learn about. I can tell you that I really had no idea of all the dinos in the world, back then. However, this book awakens my mind to realize that there are more than just the Trex or the ones that are always shown on Jurassic Park movie.
Each piece of information inside is packed with details on the age of the Dinosaur, the size, weight, location, and food they possibly ate. When I mention food, it's basically either a Herbivore, Carnivore or Omnivore and not specific foods, just what category it might have been. I love that it also gives you a brief piece on what the features and what features they have or where they were found. You really get a great idea on each and it's all in order of the time period and types found during that time. Excellent book, great for kids and adults as well!
