Twinkie Chan's Crocheted Abode a la Mode by Twinkie Chan

The book, Twinkie Chan's Crocheted Abode a la Mode by Twinkie Chan is full of cute crocheted projects anyone would love! I can tell you the desserts that you can make are super sweet and yummy! I would love to create some of these for my friends and family members. The colors and treats are just so appetizing to the eyes. That is what really got me interested into reading this book. Plus some new ideas to crochet.
The list of things that can be made is from Kitchen and Dining, Living and Lounging, Bath and Beauty, and Home and office. These topics include a few fun creations you can make listed below them. However, it pretty much gives your entire house a delicious treat design to decorate the rooms with.
Plus the directions so very easy to follow, which you would find in all crochet books. You also have the beautiful colored photos to view as well.  I really love how well organized this book is and even for anyone starting out, you will find this book easy to follow along too.
I do believe this would be a great upgrade from the simpler books. Therefore, it may be a bit tricky for beginners, at least if you know the basics and get used to reading patterns, this book will be a great start to a more difficult level.
I finally want to say that I love each project inside, which can be used for normal household items. You will be impressed with the fun things you can create and how delicious they will look! Truly a well-written guidebook to delicious and yummy crochet projects!

Information About The Author:
Twinkie Chan rocked the craft and fashion world in 2005 with her unique accessory designs, most noteably her food-themed scarves. She launched her website, www.TwinkieChan.com, with a dozen one-of-a-kind scarves and a couple of tater tot plush dolls. Since then, her work has developed a crafty cult following--there's nothing else quite like it out there.

In 2010, Chan released Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies, which featured patterns for crocheting food-inspired fashion accessories like hats, mittens, scarves, and tissue-box cozies. Her designs have been featured in Crochet Today magazine, Giant Robot magazine, Glamour Italia, xoJane.com, the Huffington Post, MentalFloss.com, and HGTV's "Uncommon Threads." As a designer, she is highly sought after by companies such as Sanrio, major yarn brands such as Lion Brand Yarn and Lily's Sugar 'n Cream Yarn, and craft stores such as Michaels.

Chan learned to crochet from her best friend's grandmother when she was ten years old, and she has always turned to crochet to make gifts for friends and family. She has a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from Stanford University, but after working in the publishing industry for ten years, she now crafts and crochets full-time.
