Heal Your Gut with Bone Broth by Robin Westen

The book, Heal Your Gut with Bone Broth by Robin Westen is an excellent look into the benefits of having a healthy broth packed with nutrients. There are so many things that this broth can help heal or repair in the body. It's like a super healing food, that will fill the body with nutrition and fix even some most common health concerns.
A few of the nutrients found in this broth is such things as Amino Acids, Calcium, Magnesium, Chondroitin, and plenty more! I mean most of those nutrients even battle weight issues and cellulite. It's just amazing what something that uses bones can do for you. Honestly, I love that this book is based on something I use to make with marrow bones. The information inside is so accurate since I use to make my own bone broth before reading this book and found it to make my digestive system run properly, I felt alert and just happier and healthier. However, I am learning some new things about the nutrition that I never realized there was. I knew it had to have some benefits since I was always feeling better after every mug full, but I was shocked to learn a few marvelous benefits I never knew this broth could do for the body. 
Inside the book are plenty of ideas on how to make your own broth, how to perform a detox and just so many wonderful tips to help you perform and look as well as feel you best. It definitely covers so much and is a great reference to the benefits of bone broth and what it can really do. Plus, it's so simple to read and understand. So even if you're just interested to learn more, maybe following a low carb approach, maybe love new and healthy ways to be healthy, or just always wanted to learn how to make a pot of your own bone broth then this is the book to read! It's just excellent and such a great idea for a healthy body inside and out!

Robin Westen received an Emmy Award for the ABC health show FYI. She is currently the medical director for, the largest health site for baby boomers on the Web. She is the author of the Harvard Medical School Guide Getting Your Child to Eat (Almost) Anything; Ten Days to Detox; and the coauthor of V Is for Vagina. She’s written feature articles for dozens of national magazines including Glamour, Vegetarian Times, Psychology Today, SELF, Cosmopolitan, and others. Robin has been practicing yoga, meditation, and cleansing for over 15 years. She divides her time between Brooklyn and Vermont.
