The Hair Stylist Handbook by Gretchen Davis

The book, The Hair Stylist Handbook by Gretchen Davis is an excellent guide with real tips from prose. It will help you understand the tools and the products needed to create these designed hair styles for any occasion.  Even if it's not on film or television, these ideas can be very useful anyplace! However, the book will really give you some great ideas to create  wonderful styles and illustrated images of products to use.
I honestly love the cover, it really caught my attention quickly! I found the inside just as interesting. There are so many fun and wonderful styles, that I could see creating. However, there are many tips and excellent ideas inside to help any stylist or student. The directions and steps are so easy to follow, with the photos inside. All of the work done, with the hair is shared and explained, in a way that anyone could understand. Even images of how to put in hair extensions.
I always wanted to learn some fun styles. This book really could help out with understanding the tools and products I can use to create some wonderful and beautiful color, styles, and cuts. Also, just because I love hair design and fashion, this book is something I just had to have for my collection. If you're interested in hair styling, becoming a stylist then this is an excellent book! It's just an example of how to book for beginners or those who style hair and want to learn and understand more about the products and items that can be used to get a certain look.
Though I find it to be a great guide and an excellent lesson in styling hair on TV or just for an everyday look.
