The book, Creative Truth by Brad Weaver is an excellent guide to building a strong and profit earning business in design. It will give you all the steps and tips to create a Design Business, that will help you to get started right away! Well, that is exactly what I felt when I read this book. It's packed with so many examples and helpful guidance through beginning the business
all the way to keeping it going and understanding what you need to do.

Inside there are chapters that cover how to start, what you need to begin, sales, marketing, getting clients, online presence, pricing, working for free, contracts, long-term client relationships, build an audience, office space, failure, and so much more!
They were just a few parts of each chapter covered, but there are so much more inside. It really takes you through starting and how to make this hobby into a dream job. You get a complete book that teaches you and helps you every step of the way.
I love that it's complete, from starting up and getting to meet goals. I know one goal would definitely be to have a successful business and this book really explains everything thoroughly and completely with tips and even some helpful ideas that really could help.
No matter, if it's for free, a hobby, or just to start building income, this book really explains everything you what to be prepared to face with this career. I also love that it covers pricing, for those who are interested, to make money and help others build a design.
Finally, I never read something so nicely organized and explains everything that could help me start off and create a profitable design job as this book has done!
Excellent reference and guide for anyone interested in design.

Brad Weaver is a Managing Partner & Director of Design at Nine Labs. He founded Suckerpunch in 2007 which merged with Nine Labs in 2014. Previously, he worked on the development of early Mobile and Online Media programs at Verizon Wireless. He works with clients including GE, Pirelli, AT&T, ESPN, Disney, Columbia Records, NATO, The PGA, Coca-Cola, UnitedHealth Group, Macy's, and Hard Rock Café on User Experience and Branding projects.
