Color Me Couture by Catherine Mong and Gloria Collazo

The book, Color Me Couture by Catherine Mong and Gloria Collazo is packed with dresses, different accessories and fun parts to color in and add additional design too.  It's absolutely a lovely coloring book for Fashion Design lovers, like myself! I just love the illustrations and the detailed information of the style being shown on the page. It really helps you understand the clothing that you'll be able to decorate, being seen in the photo.
Honestly, I can do so many different things with the use of this book, not to just color! It has the ability to be used as a drawing reference book for certain styles, which I can trace it or copy and add some new designs on the clothing or use it to think of new patterns to design. However, the book is just full of fun ideas and possibilities! One thing I've been doing lately with most of the pages is tracing them, so I can keep the book in great shape and use it over to create new styles and patterns on each page. Also, color over and over again as I like.
Inside the book, you will be noticing the many different style dresses and accessories to design and create new looks with. I know it's more of a child's book and it's great for that, but I also see it as a wonderful guide to design and creativity in Fashion Design.
It's even a great book to help the young ones follow into the Fashion Design career idea, giving them some start in the world of creativity and fashion. Though, no matter how the book is used there will be plenty of ideas and ways to enjoy adding your own personal fashion design and learn a little bit about the  different cuts, patterns, and designs that are used to explain each dress. Therefore, I feel it's an excellent book and very enjoyable to own!
