Practical Pattern Making by Lucia Mors de Castro and Isabel Sanchez

The book, Practical Pattern Making by Lucia Mors de Castro and Isabel Sanchez  has a great amount of information to understand how to correctly make patterns for clothing. The book is easy to understand and it includes guides with drawings and how to mark fabric and even draping. It basically will explain how to measure the body with actual photos to help you view what is going on, which makes it super easy. Therefore, I can say just having that visual and information really does make a big difference to achieve the right size. There also is blank worksheets that your allowed to copy and use inside the book.
I think the best part is that this can be used for those who are starting out and may not have much of an idea on how to measure properly are what you want to really do. So for a beginners guide, this can really help get you started. The examples that are illustrated inside the book, the worksheets to use and build from, and all the in-depth information really can help out a lot!
There isn't anything difficult to understand or something I need to search online or into another book for. It's all right inside this book from beginning to end.
There is even an included area, where questions get answered and many of the normal ones, we may all have on our minds. So it's definitely going to cover all the must know information needed to understand pattern making when it comes to clothing. I just love how it's made super easy to understand for any beginner. The photos are such a great help and so is the guidance the author provides. Excellent pattern making book!
