Art with an iPhone A Photographer's Guide to Creating Altered Realities by Kat Sloma

The book, Art with an iPhone by Kat Sloma is something I really do enjoy, since I use my iPhone more often than a camera. It comes in handy when I want to snap a shot or record a video. However, knowing how to take the perfect picture and to have it come out as if you took it with a professional camera or as a professional can be a bit difficult. Some of the settings and ways to get a unique shot or perfect look might take skill, but this book will inform and give you all the details to creating a masterpiece with every shot you take!
I might be making it seem more than it is, but this book really is wonderful! It does have all the information from using different apps to settings and basic usage of the iPhone. What is best about an iPhone is that its an all in one digital device! You have a computer, a camera, a ereader, a GPS, portable game console and that is to just name a few. However, when you can get a phone that can do so much and is a perfect alternative to a digital camera, than having a guide book, like the Art with an iPhone by Kat is so worth it!

The information you will learn, is such things like working in bright conditions, lens flare, choosing a camera app, editing apps, focus, stability, and so much more! I really found the adding of effects very interesting, which there are so many you can do to get a creative and artistic look to the photo. However, there are so many to choose from and each would make the photo look so different than the real visual of the image in front of you. These effects that are covered are the Grunge, Painterly, Pencil and Chalk, Illustration, Geometric and Glitch and Distort Effects.
All I can say is this is just an excellent book and very informative with all the wonderful things you do to take a professional and excellent photo for sharing! I mean it really covers everything and for a simple camera on the iPhone and all the apps and options, you can make wonderful photos every time, thanks to this book as reference!

Finally, I really loved this book and found it to be the perfect companion for my iPhone. It's full of the most useful information, which I can really learn from and use this material to produce photos worth selling and sharing with everyone!
