Nineteenth-Century Women’s Fashion by Felicity J. Warnes

The book, Nineteenth-Century Women's Fashion by Felicity J. Warnes is beautiful and so full of fashion from history. There is styles that are so unique and different than what we wear now! The designs and illustrations are very lovely and inside the book, it focuses on the fashion from the 1800's to 1900's. So for a 100-year period time, there are so many wonderful fashionable styles to view and learn about.
I absolutely love the designs, the styles and it reminds me so much of a history type movie, when I see these dresses and clothing. Each piece of clothing that drapes each person in this book is designed so different with additions to the sleeves, dresses and just pretty much each part of the outfit they wear. The hats are huge and lovely, while the dresses match perfectly. I must say even the hems are very nicely detailed on the dress. It's just an exquisite book! I really love the photos inside and the dresses are just gorgeous and so eye catching.
A few of these different types of clothing listed inside are such items like the capes, beribboned toques, evening gloves, bonnets, turbans, and many more! I really agree if your into Fashion Design or want to read up on clothing through the 1800's than this is a great book to own.
It's hard cover, lovely photos and inspiring designs are something to hold on too when you get a book like this. Full of inspiration and lovely styles to recreate or use in different ways for everyday art. I'm always trying to find ways to influence new ideas. Therefore, the photos in this book really come in handy and help influence me to create and design some new ideas!
Excellent book!
