Today I was able to review the ebook Hugo The Happy Starfish The Promise. Another great lesson learned by Hugo. First in my opinion, this is a book for all kids to read and learn what it takes to be committed to doing something they promised to do. Hugo shows a great example of why he needs to stay committed to his promise and why its important to be truthful. If you promise someone something you must keep to it, or that would hurt someone else and they would feel unhappy and hurt. So I think this book is an excellent example of showing why promises are important as well as at the end you can see a list of what you should always be truthful too.
Finally, I'd like to say that everyone should always be truthful and always keep a promise. I've always felt that a promise had more meaning when said and hurts the most if not honored by the person who issued it.

Come on a sea adventure with HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH as he finds out that HAPPINESS begins with COMMITMENT.
THE PROMISE (THE ISLAND OF COMMITMENT) contains a great educational lesson about COMMITMENT AND TRUST.
On the ISLAND OF COMMITMENT Hugo learns that it is important to stand by his word. It is much easier to just say things and not to act on ones promises than to actually stand by your word and do what you promised to do.
The little starfish learns to keep his promise and to do the things he is supposed to do.
Hugo is a little starfish whose home is at the bottom of the wide ocean. He longs to visit the real world, and one day he decides to go and find it. Hugo's journey to happiness isn't quite as straightforward as he hopes though. He is sent to a series of different islands where he is taught important character lessons.
By the end of his journey, Hugo has visited fourteen islands, made many more friends, and, most importantly, learned how to be a better starfish.
