Freelance Writing Guide: What to Expect in Your First Year as a Freelance Writer
By, Christine Rice
I want to give a huge THANK YOU, to Christine Rice for this copy of the book to review.
This book is very detailed and explains to you exactly what Freelance writing is and how to get your work published.
There's about 6 parts, Publishing, Marketing, Job Searches, Educate Yourself, Tools for Business, and a Writer's Lifestyle. Now each part is made of a few chapters as well, in total of 21.
I began reading the book and notice how much this material will support all beginners. You get the full detailed information on how to begin off in your writing journey. First off, you'll learn the many ways to start building a writing prompt for a topic you would love to write about. Plus how you can create your portfolio you'll need, to present to the buyers market. Then you can be considered a Ghost Writer, not named for your work but for another. there are many options out there and many businesses that need you.
Further through the book you will learn that you can educate yourself even more by doing a certificate program, or even some free programs that are out there and improve your skills from novice to advance. :)
Also shows you great sites that offer these and much more on writing and where to begin when starting out.
I know that its hard to begin, since some don't have the skills and figure its not for them. However, don't you ever want to write down maybe a poem or something that pops in your head, like a song. Then you got that idea maybe to make a book. and have it published. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to write something that you love and feel deeply for. You could just be surprised how easy it can be, and who knows you might be the next popular book, song, or poem writer out there.
